You can start your wedding preparations from 11am on the day of your wedding in the bridal preparation loft with antique wedding props and plentiful natural light and space or our custom air-conditioned beauty salon. It's my personal favourite place to take bridal preparation photos.

The Maleny Manor team including Emma, Felicity, Georgia, Melissa, Ana & Ali to name a few are literally the best. They have consistently been rated at the top in Australia, taking out best ceremony Venue in Australia so many times I've lost count. They have assisted a wide range of clients including major celebrities, international clients from around the globe as well as plenty of local love birds and their families.

Ceremony Locations

When it comes to Weddings at Maleny Manor, there are multiple ceremony location options. For larger weddings, the Helipad is an open air space, elevated above the Sunshine Coast Hinterland views. There is the gorgeous Figtree which sets a romantic scene and also the option of the Pavilion ceremony, positioned in a sheltered space beneath a short walking distance to the Manor, this also works as a backup option if the weather is less than favourable.

A private rolling estate ringed by remnant rainforest, two vineyard locations, croquet and ceremony lawns, feature lake and ancient sprawling wedding tree provide the perfect setting for the ultimate private garden party.

Reception Options

When it comes to the reception the Maleny Manor has its main Grand Reception Room, which can be utilised as smaller spaces or opened up to become one large grand room. The large windows create a beautiful backdrop with the soft hinterland views complimenting it all. The architecture and ceiling detail make these spaces feel elegant and beautifully designed, the perfect base to build upon for your wedding styling. The Main Room is also air-conditioned and the addition of a fire place for extra warmth for those winter months. You also have the option of a gorgeous reception under the stars at the Manor's many beautiful lawns. And Marquees can also add to your outdoor wedding dream.

Megan & Chris sure did turn the heat up at Maleny Manor, like i'd never seen before. With damaging storms predicted for their ceremony the afternoon was looking a little hairy. But these two pretty much had the attitude of yeah whatever and in the end the only damage on the day was on the dancefloor!

She holds with pride her combined attributes and know they can offer her couples a beautiful and memorable ceremony, with a stress-free planning process. Sommer ensures her ceremonies reflect who her couples are, where they have been and where they are heading as two, perfectly. She can also string a sentence or two together pretty well in front of a crowd without jittering up – meaning no matter what kind of nerves are felt on the day, Sommer's got her couple’s backs, but certainly won’t take their spotlight!

Sommer is relaxed, warm and calm in nature, making her very approachable.

So when it comes to photographing weddings or filming and creating wedding films, Sommer has already put down a lot of the ground work for my own wedding film story. The content is endless from the ceremony alone. I have amazing reactions from he crowd, I have tears, I have laughter, I have a ripper story of how they met, I have quirky new traditions (when a bride and groom had a bucket of KFC lol!) and I have plenty of emotional surprises even I didn't see coming. It's always a collaboration between a photographer or film maker and your suppliers on the wedding day. If you have the best suppliers, and especially celebrant, well you have the best opportunity to have the best photos and the best films. And Sommer is certainly one of the best in her field.
