Who is Graeme?

I feel very lucky that my passion is my career. It is my goal to ensure you have one of the best experiences ever on one of the biggest days of your life. I am not just your photographer. I am your friend.

I believe in authenticity, in having fun, and being true to who we are. Maybe that means getting our feet dirty and rolling around in the sand.

Maybe that means hiking up a dirt path or just a quiet stroll down the beach on sunset. What do you enjoy doing together? I strive to capture pure and raw emotion; no fake smiles, no pretending. Memories are meant to be captured, and I want to capture the real ones. I highly encourage you to be different, be you, be who you are together, as a couple; this is raw, and this is exactly what I want to take photos of. These moments are the ones that matter; they are real and intimate and the ones that I want to be apart of with you.

That is real life, and real life is what I am most interested in photographing. I’m here to freeze those moments in time you may not even realize are unfolding, and I hope to deliver your story in the most genuine yet raw format that I can. I focus on the raw and real details when capturing couples. I’m interested in the emotional experiences, the messed up hair, the rain soaked clothes, and the dirty feet. I’m there on your day to be that calm relaxed person. I’m always there for advice & by the end of the day I can honestly say we’ll be friends.

I want

The little things and those big feels. The stuff that matters in life. Those moments that you and your person will want to cherish forever. Nothing forced. Nothing set up. Just you two, the way you are. Photographing people in love in the places they love, wherever that may be. When it comes to my passion, there's nothing more important than creating something meaningful for others.

Family Man

Not only am I a full time wedding photographer & film maker, but I’m a full time family man. A very proud dad of my gorgeous little daughters Elva & Farahdae. I’ve been lucky enough to share this adventure with my very supporting partner Kara over the last 10 years. We love traveling & together it’s taken us all over Sri Lanka, India & Nepal as we trekked through the Himalayas. And most recently we returned from our camping van adventures through the Pacific North West of America. Sleeping amongst the giant Redwoods was a highlight. But we also love the simple things, like picnics down the beach, camping, dogs & laksa.

I'd love to hear your story...

Meet the Team

This is Kara, she's my rock to say the least. Kara takes care of the admin, social media, the family photography & all the pretty stuff like packaging.

This is Elva. This active kid loves to help a lot. We are in the process of finding her a full time position, her strengths are cuddles, dressing up & feeding the dog.

This toddler keeps staff morale high at all times. Farahdae keeps us updated on deliveries from the post man at all times and is training to be our full-time barista.

How long have you been a photographer?

I've been a professional photographer for nearly 10 years now. I begun shooting weddings around 7 years ago & haven't looked back.

Do you shoot engagement sessions?

Of course! I offer an engagement session in a couple of my packages. This is a great way to get to know each other before the wedding day and really helps you both get relaxed in front of the camera. They may just be my favorite sessions to shoot.

Where do you shoot engagements?

I am completely inspired by the outdoors and my sessions reflect that. A hike in the hinterland, a walk along the coast or a stroll in the forest are all ideal options. I’m always down for an adventure so don’t be shy if you have something unique in mind.

How would you describe your style of photography?

My approach is photojournalistic. I love capturing real moments as they happen and try to avoid stiff posing. That being said, I will occasionally give direction when needed and then simply let you get comfortable within each shot so everything looks and feels natural.

What is your editing style?

I’m known for warm and dynamic edits. My goal is to create something that takes you back to the moment captured in a unique way. I will never change backgrounds or manipulate the image that doesn’t feel natural.

How many photos will we receive for a wedding?

Typically around 500-600 images for a full wedding.

How will we receive our images?

Once your images have been edited, they’ll be uploaded to a private gallery for 1 year. You will be able to download, order prints and share your images from this site. If you would like a USB drive with all of the edited images in high resolution I can make that happen for an additional fee.

Do you have business insurance?

I sure do. Some venues require this, so just let me know and I’ll be more than happy to provide it.

How do you choose the music for your wedding films?

I get a feel for you and the vibe of your wedding day, and put a lot of time and effort into choosing the perfect track for you. I’m all about supporting artists and valuing talent and can’t use commercial music. My music is purchased from royalty-free song libraries, so you won’t have copyright infringement or ethical issues if you share your film online.

How long does it usually take to receive all of our photos/film?

I aim for 8-12 weeks. This gives me time to make sure that everything looks incredible when I deliver to you.

What are your wedding package rates?

For a full pricing guide please get in touch with me through my contact form.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. I'm based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland but my work has taken me to all corners of the world. Recently I travelled to Seattle - Washington State, Donegal - Ireland, Margaret River - Western Australia & Phillip Island - Victoria. There basically isn't anywhere I wouldn't travel to. If you live within 1 - 2 hours of the Sunshine Coast, there is no travel fees.

How does covering travel expenses work?

Some photographers do set travel fees, I don’t. I just have you pay for the bare minimum (flight, transportation, stay) and I cover the rest. I’m also open to staying with you, your family, camping or sharing an airbnb with you to help save you $$$. And if it works out on both ends I’m also more than happy to get picked up and dropped off at the airport to save on paying for a rental car! For booking, I book flights and rental car on my own (you can book my stay if you’d like, but I am firm on booking my own flights + transportation). I make sure to get your confirmation on logistics + price before booking anything to ensure there are no surprise costs on your end! You can estimate costs by checking how much hotels/airbnbs typically cost in the area we will be staying, how much roundtrip flights are and rental cars are typically around $80 per day or less when booked in advance.

How do we book with you and how do we pay?

Everything booking related can be done online. A 25% deposit and signed contract locks in your date. I accept payments of credit, debit or cash.

How do we get a hold of you?

If you fill out the form on my contact page I’ll be in touch with a pricing guide that breaks down all of my offerings. That way I can also check my availability for your date.

Tell me your story

and lets create something beautiful. Let's be friends. Reach out and let's plan a little adventure with you and your love and create something meaningful together. I’m not here to just show up with a camera and shoot. I wanna be more than that for you. This is a two way relationship, i don’t create for i create with. I do this because i want photos to be more than just photos to you. Whatever your adventure may be, it deserves to be remembered for decades to come. This is your little legacy.

With love, Graeme
